Oral history interviews
Format: Narrator last name, first name. Oral history interview conducted by interviewer name(s), interview date. GMHC Stories collection, Manuscripts and Archives Division, The New York Public Library. Duration or item identifier.
Use the suggested citation on the individual interview page and add the page URL and access date when required by your citation style.
Timeline events
Cite the event title and date, followed by GMHC Stories Timeline, the page URL, and your access date. When the record identifies an underlying board meeting, periodical, or archival document, include that source and its page number in your citation.
Timeline entries summarize documentary evidence. Researchers should consult and cite the underlying source whenever possible.

Consult the item and collection description for the most complete identifying information available. Citation identifies the material used; it does not grant permission to publish or distribute it.
